Simon heads up Cluck as the Managing Director. He’s passionate about food, great service and building fantastic teams.
Biography & Career Highlights
Prior to forming Cluck Restaurants in 2013 and launching a new and innovative concept to the UK Restaurant market, Simon gained a wealth of experience working both nationally and internationally within the Food, Beverage and Hotel sectors.
Simon started his career in the late eighties with The Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation in Australia, progressing through Forte and independent Hotels in the UK quickly reaching General Manager level.
Simon then spent considerable time working in senior roles within Sport’s & Leisure with the Greyhound Racing Association (GRA) Limited and Compass Group. Spending time in premiership football clubs, horse racing stadia, major world sporting championships and was the Project Director for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar looking after the games prime sponsors, games technical officials and the world's press.
In 2008 Simon then went onto oversee the operations delivering catering at some of Europe’s most exciting and prestigious conference and live event venues including The International Convention Centre (ICC); The National Exhibition Centre (NEC); The LG Arena; The National Indoor Arena (NIA); and Amadeus.
Immediately prior to launching Cluck Restaurants Simon led the national Food and Beverage Strategy for Travelodge Hotels, including 150 restaurant and bars across 500 sites.
